Ready-to-Quote Summary
TERACTOR LLC released Phone Slam! (Japanese title: 挟むな危険), a mobile game, on October 23, 2026. Press the screen and a foldable phone snaps shut; let go and it opens. Players close it carefully so nothing gets pinched, and after about 10 closes, FEVER flips the rules for five seconds: now everything pinched gets smashed. The 60-second game moves between caution and release, and it arrived the same day as Apple's first foldable iPhone. It was played more than 750 times in its first six days (as of Oct 28, 2026). It is free to play with ads and available on iOS and Android.
Why This Game
The one thing you should never do with a foldable phone is close it on something.
Phone Slam! turns "pinch something and it's over" into the entire rule.
We released it on the day Apple's first foldable iPhone went on sale, October 23, 2026.
The joke is the hook, but the game is built on switching between tension and release.
Most of the time you close carefully. For the five seconds of FEVER, you smash everything.
Highlights
1. One rule: press to close, release to open.
Press anywhere and the phone snaps shut; let go and it opens. Close while the right screen is clear to score a pattan. Anything with a red shadow will get caught, and the screen cracks. Game over.
2. Careful mode, then smash mode.
Close about 10 times in rhythm and FEVER begins. The clock stops for five seconds, and everything you pinch is smashed. Pinch several at once for a multiplier; a Golden Daruma counts as 10 smashes on its own. Your score is Pattans × Smashes, so one without the other scores nothing.
3. How it looks and sounds.
The folding phone is drawn in perspective, so it opens and closes in 3D. Its screen shows the real current time. Cracks form differently every time. Every sound effect is synthesized, with no recordings. Smash several things at once and an arpeggio runs upward, starting higher the more you smash.
4. Every crack gets a punchline.
There are 22 objects, each with its own last word:
- Lucky Cat: "The lucky cat beckoned a repair bill."
- Walnut: "The walnut stayed intact. The screen did not."
- Wireless Mouse: "The charging port is still on the bottom, as always."
A retro music player and a smartwatch are in there too, along with other gadgets you may recognize.

Phone Slam! turns the foldable phone's worst mistake into a game
TERACTOR LLC released Phone Slam! on October 23, 2026, the same day as Apple's first foldable iPhone. It was played more than 750 times in its first six days (as of Oct 28, 2026).
The only rule is "press to close, release to open." Lucky cats and kokeshi dolls slide across the right half of the phone, and closing while that screen is clear scores a pattan. Close on anything with a red shadow and the screen cracks. Game over.
Close about 10 times in rhythm and FEVER starts. The clock stops for five seconds and everything you pinch is smashed. The score is Pattans × Smashes, so you need both the careful closing and the all-out smashing.
Each of the 22 objects has its own last line when it cracks the screen. The lucky cat's: "The lucky cat beckoned a repair bill." Runs last 60 seconds. The game is free with ads on iOS and Android, in six languages.

Close carefully, then smash everything: Phone Slam! is 60 seconds of tension and release
The one thing you should never do with a foldable phone is close it on something. Phone Slam!, released on October 23, 2026, makes that the whole rule.
You press the screen to close the phone and let go to open it. Marbles, kokeshi dolls and lucky cats slide in from the back and pass over the right-hand screen. Close in the instant it is clear and you score a pattan. Close on something with a red shadow and a crack spreads across the screen. The crack is different every time.
Most of the run asks for held-breath caution. Then, after about 10 closes in rhythm, the mood flips: FEVER. The timer reads STOP, and for five seconds everything you pinch is smashed. Pinch several at once for a multiplier, and the sound effect climbs from a higher note the more you smash. The score is Pattans × Smashes, so neither half works alone. That switch is what keeps the game from being just a joke.
Losing has its own reward. Pinch a walnut and you get "The walnut stayed intact. The screen did not." A wireless mouse earns "The charging port is still on the bottom, as always." There are 22 objects in all.
Phone Slam! came out the same day as Apple's first foldable iPhone and was played more than 750 times in its first six days (as of Oct 28, 2026). It is free with ads on iOS and Android and available in six languages.
